Meet The Team: Adam Hinchcliffe

Although the Chicken Shed no longer homes actual chickens, 5 days a week between the hours of 9am and 5:30pm you will be able to find the 3LT team tirelessly working away on the next big product! Each month we will give you an exclusive behind the scenes access to a team member’s life, what they do at 3 Legged Thing, what they do in their spare time and most importantly, what they photograph outside of the world of tripods.

Next in the series is 3LT’s most notorious UK sales manager, self professed Instagram model, Sunday footballer and swift surfer – Adam Hinchcliffe.

Job Title?

“U.K Sales Manager”

What do you do at 3LT?

“I manage all U.K Sales for 3 Legged Thing, Peak Design and MagMod products.”

–  “Crossing the Yellow Bridge in Nusa Lembongan, Bali. We rented a moped for the week, which had a faulty speedometer,  faulty fuel gauge, no lights and only one wing mirror. Best £1 I ever spent though.”

How long have you worked for the company?

“4 years and 3 months, minus the 3 weeks I left.”

What’s the best thing about working at 3LT?

“Taking regular abuse from of all of my colleagues on a daily basis. Apart from that, my dealer network keeps me going throughout the day.”

–  “Nights out with childhood friends in Worcester. This might be the only photo of me smiling. Ever.”

When you’re not at work, what do you like to do?

“Surf, play football and relax with mates.”

What do you like to take photographs of?

–  “When you have your Shreddies for breakfast! Mont Tremblant, Canada 2019.”

What camera gear do you use?

“Fujifilm X-T2 and GoPro, Mavic Air and iPhone. (iPhone is my go-to usually)”

What’s your dream photography destination?

“Cuba, Havana. ‘Completed it mate’.”

–  “Chilling at Green Bowl Beach, Bali. 300 steps up and down to get to this hidden beach, you have to face the occasional standoff with wild monkeys but it’s completely worth the trek.”

What’s your favourite chocolate bar?

“None, would swap any chocolate bar for a pack of Rowntrees Fruit Gums any day of the week.”

What colour are your socks today?

“White, New Balance socks.”

If you had one wish, what would it be?

“I would wish for a billion £’s.”
