Meet The Team: Sam Davis
Although the Chicken Shed no longer homes actual chickens, 5 days a week between the hours of 9am and 5:30pm you will be able to find the 3LT team tirelessly working away on the next big product! Each month we will give you an exclusive behind the scenes access to a team member’s life, what they do at 3 Legged Thing, what they do in their spare time and most importantly, what they photograph outside of the world of tripods.
Ay up miduck! This month we introduce you to Sam Davis. When Sam isn’t in the office crunching numbers you’ll often find her out and about with her doggos, kiddos or the girls! Our Nottingham babe dreams of being the future Mrs Diesel or Johnson, so if either of you are reading this Vin or Dwayne, Sam has just one question… Where are you both? Gerra moovonn!

What do you do at 3LT?
I handle accounts, I count chickens, basically, if it involves numbers I have probably had something to do with it.
How long have you worked for the company?
I’ve worked for 3LT for nearly 7 Months now.
What’s the best thing about working at 3LT?
The people and the extremely creative expense receipt photos I receive.
When you’re not at work, what do you like to do?
Outside of work you will find me walking the dogs Bella and George (her name is Georgie, but she never responds to anything you call her, so George it is). The majority of my time is spent looking after my two children though.
– “If I hide in the grass, mum won’t find me and I can go on walkies for ever and ever!” Bella, enjoying her morning walk a little too much.
What’s your dream photography destination?
I don’t really do much photography, I tend to just take photos on my iPhone, however my dream holiday destination would be the Maldives for the Manta Ray season.
What do you like to take photographs of on your iPhone?
You may have guessed it – my dogs and my kids.
What’s your favourite chocolate bar?
Favourite chocolate bar would have to be Milka with Diam. It’s one I have to hide away from the kids in my secret chocolate stash even though they found my Milky Way bars in there the other day… not so secret after all!
– Public punishment for stealing mums Milky Way. (No children were actually harmed in the making of this photo, it was all voluntary we swear!)
What colour are your socks today?
White with multi-coloured stars.
If you had one wish, what would it be?
I would wish for no more hunger in the world.
